Here's what you can expect when you visit VCF.
Parking for VCF is available on both sides of Main Street, in front of the church, and in the lot north of the building.
Sunday morning worship begins at 10:45AM during the school year- 10:00AM during the summer. See our calendar for other details.
Come early and enjoy coffee and a snack in the kitchen- help yourself.
Casual dress is fine. Sit where you like. Ushers are available to assist you if needed.
A typical Sunday worship gathering begins with greetings and 20-30 minutes of worship music in a contemporary style followed by an encouraging Gospel message. Song lyrics are projected on a video screen. Visitors are free to participate as they wish. An offering is usually collected but visitors should feel free to let the offering plate pass them by. The worship gathering usually lasts about 75-80 minutes.
Church members often bring their own bible but copies are available on the information counter near the main meeting room entrance. (You are welcome to take a Bible home with you, if you wish.) Wi-fi connection is available in the building. Please feel free to use your wireless device.
VCF celebrates communion the third Sunday of each month. Everyone is welcome to participate but not expected to. Grape juice is used. Directions are given for the communion service.
Nursery is available for children age 3 and under.
Truth for Kids (T4K)
A Bible lesson and fun activity called Truth for Kids (T4K) is offered most Sundays for children age 4 through 4th grade during the message time of the worship gathering. Children are dismissed from the service to the T4K room, upstairs, after the praise/worship/music time. Visiting children are welcomed to participate.
Our Hope for You
We look forward to your visit to VCF. We hope your heart and spirit are touched by Jesus when you come.
